To add some more detail to the situation, I started Gimp, made a new drawing, used the ellipse tool to make a circle, used the bucket-fill to fill it, nothing happened, used the paintbrush and pencil tools next to color the selection and nothing happened. WebOpen your Channels list, and make sure the three RGB channels are selected. When you paint black (0,0,0) on white (255,255,255) and the red channel is deselected, you get (255,0,0) (only G and B are affected) ie, pure red. All three were selected before..
